Broughton Country Estate consists of 19 hectares of rolling hills, a combination of beautiful coastal riverine bush and grasslands unique to the Eastern Cape of South Africa. The Manor house, set on one of the highest points in the area, boasts spectacular mountain and sea views, with large sections of coastline, and the surfing mecca of Jeffrey’s Bay visible from the veranda.

We provide a picnic table and camper chairs with cushions and a picnic blanket, biodegradable cutlery and crockery as well as plastic glasses. Delicious Picnic platter – menu with choices available. You pick your spot on our beautiful estate and we set it up for you. Includes a family boardgame, puzzle or pack of cards. Drinks and refreshments are available to purchase from us at an additional cost. Take a stroll through the forest and enjoy the abundance of birdlife, you may get to spot our Impala and Waterbuck on the property.

From Port Elizabeth
Take the N2 west (towards Humansdorp) past the Bay West mall and take Exit 730 onto the
M15 towards Seaview, Follow the M15 south (towards Seaview) for 3,2 Km to Cows Corner and take a slight right, turn onto De Stades Road, Follow De Stades Road for 1.2 Km and turn left into Honey Bee Road for 0.5 Km, At the top of Honey Bee Road you will find a set of white security gates which is the
entrance to Broughton Country Estate, Do not use the 31b Doorly Road entrance.
Or
Take the M15 west (Kragga Kamma Road) to Cows Corner, Take Doorly Road west (continuation of the Kragga Kamma Road) to Honey Bee Road, Turn left on Honey Bee Road to the end of the road were you will find a set of security gates which is the entrance to Broughton Country Estate, Do not use the 31b Doorly Road entrance.
